Meet Dr. Roger W. Sherwood

CURRICULUM VITAE
Dr. Sherwood is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He is a graduate of the LSU School of Dentistry, where he earned the Oral Diagnosis Award for Excellence. After completing his training in 1976, he entered private practice. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry; the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association. He is past President of the Louisiana Academy of General Dentistry, and the past President of the Post Graduate Denatl Seminar. He is also a fellow of the Pierre Fouchard Academy and is a part time Assistant Clinical Professor at the LSU School of Dentistry
In 1999, Dr. Sherwood received the designation of "Master of the Academy of General Dentistry" the highest award for dental continuing education. Of the 36,000 members in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), less than one thousand practicing members hold this degree. The AGD was founded on the commitment to continuing education as a means of providing quality patient care.
